Meet Chef Big Shake
Shawn Davis, aka Chef Big Shake, began his journey in the culinary world at the tender age of 12. With a passion for cooking and an unrelenting drive, he quickly rose through the ranks, taking the helm of the kitchen at the renowned Italian eatery Giovanni Palmeros in Ocean Beach, New York, by the age of 16. His early success in this esteemed establishment set the stage for a remarkable career in the food industry.
Chef Shawn's entrepreneurial spirit led him to create CBS Food, a food line that achieved nationwide success, selling his Shrimp Burgers and his famous Nashville Hot Chicken to over 4,000 grocery stores. His culinary creations also found a home on QVC, further solidifying his reputation as a food innovator.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Chef Shawn ventured into the restaurant scene, opening his own brand of hot chicken restaurants “Big Shakes Nashville Hot Chicken” in Nashville and Huntsville, Alabama. His dedication to quality and flavor earned him the Best Southern Restaurant award for seven consecutive years.
